Melina Central Apartment Taormina

The property was beautifully presented and spacious, the host was friendly and communicated well. It is located right in the center of town within an easy walk to the cable car, buses and taxi. The property was bright and the layout is excellent with good facilities. Host left water and wine complimentary. Comfy beds, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. This was a newly renovated property when we stayed in it. Extended our stay and had a lovely 6 nights there with our family. Would definitely return and recommend this property to others.

Our experience was amazing! Firstly, we arrived in Taormina earlier than expected and were fortunate enough to be able to check in an hour early. On check in, we were greeted by the lovely Giovanni who showed us around the stunning apartment that was fitted out with everything you could possibly need for your stay and more! (including a bottle of wine). The cute balcony off one of the bedrooms allowed us to watch all of the action out on the main tourist strip - the location could not have been better, walking distance to all of the main attractions plus the best Pasticceria on your doorstep. So good!

No issues at all with the property. However, travellers do need to do their research on Taormina if they are intending on driving/parking a vehicle. The vehicle access on this street is limited to local traffic only and there is no parking (much like most of Taormina). Good news is that the taxi rank is just down the road (which we used to get to the train station). The cable carts and bus station are a little further away so the amount of luggage you have may determine best way to travel.

the property was very very comfortable and extremely well located. one of the very few properties in my stay in Italy which had a very good size shower area. most of the properties have very small and uncomfortable shower cubicles. the location is right in the Center of the Main Street. both the rooms were very clean and big. the living room was great with a very well equipped pantry. the whole appartment was very airy with great positive vibes.
