Piccola guest house familiare molto bella fuori dal caos cittadino di Kandy ma raggiungibile in 10 Min. L' host e la sua famiglia sono gentilissimi, super carini e disponibili, pronti ad aiutarti se hai qualsiasi problema. Stanza grande e pulita. Colazione buona servita direttamente in camera. Parcheggio per il proprio tuk tuk direttamente nella guest house.

Netter Gastgeber mit freundlicher Familie, leckeres Frühstück und große, saubere Zimmer&Betten.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer oben bot wenig Privatsphäre, da eine Tür zur Küche der Gastfamilie und die andere zum Nachbarzimmer führte. Immer wieder klopfte die Mutter des Gastgebers, und beim Frühstück, das im Zimmer serviert wurde, saß der Gastgeber direkt daneben – dadurch haben wir uns nicht so wohlgefühlt. Das 2. Zimmer (im Untergeschoss) war noch nicht fertig: Spachtelarbeiten und verschiedene Handwerksmaterialien lagen herum, vieles war noch unvollständig. Außerdem ist der Anfahrtsweg sehr steil – viele Taxis trauen sich nicht hin, wir mussten zweimal von der Hauptstraße laufen.

Sri, hat sich direkt nach der Buchung bei uns gemeldet und sich große Mühe gegeben unseren Aufenthalt bei ihm so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Außerdem kennt er sich sehr gut mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants usw. aus und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Außerdem hatten wir auch einige gute Gespräche über Sri Lanka, die Kultur und die Menschen und konnten dabei viel erfahren und lernen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, abgelegen, ruhig und doch sehr nah am Zentrum von Kandy gelegen. Die Familie ist sehr herzlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen beim nächsten Kandy Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder.

This stay has been the highlight of our trip so far I cannot recommend it highly enough if you're staying in Kandy. The place is out of the city but not too far and in a beautiful quiet lane surrounded by greenery. The room was very clean and comfortable and we loved having the balcony which looked out onto palms and fruit trees. The best thing about the stay by far however was the incredible hospitality and welcome we had from Sri and his family. They took such good care of us, cooked delicious breakfasts and made sure we had tea when we came in. Sri was so generous in helping us travel to Kandy and we loved chatting to him, felt like we learned so much about Sri Lanka, it was a wonderful experience. Until next time!

Es ist sehr hellhörig. Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer.

Tutto, il proprietario gentilissimo che ci ha anche dato consigli su cosa fare, dove mangiare. Location per noi perfetta perché fuori dal caos cittadino ma a pochi minuti di tuk tuk dal centro e dalle attrazioni principali della città.

The area is really calm and pretty, breakfast tasty and family living there very kind

It will be hard to get there with a normal car, so either a tuk tuk or something smaller

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location was 10 minutes outside of Kandy centre, but for me this was a positive due to the chaotic nature of Kandy itself - it was nice to have some peace out in the nature. The host himself was extremely welcoming, very friendly and happy to help without almost anything

Just one small thing - no air conditioning. However, there is a fan mounted on the wall which kept us a little cooler.
