Soli Hostel

Gary was very welcoming and showed us around. We haven't stayed in a YH before but it was super comfy and clean . The food the pub down the hill was Thai and delicious, we took it back and ate outside. We will be back for sure. Beautiful scenery.

It was very close to Alton towers

The staff didn’t return any of our emails or queries before we stayed as we requested more information. We also left an item and called and emailed and still haven’t had a reply almost 2 weeks later. It’s by a church and the bell chimes every hour and is loud which isn’t great if you’re a light sleeper. Beds were uncomfortable and very squeaky. Shower didn’t work so we skipped that. There is no one there to ask for help. You’re on your own.

Great value great location

Trying to get into the property , because on arrival we could not get into it with owners...but can easily be resolved for the future. if owners text the door code before hand 😊

Not as clean as I would like.

Location was excellent. That was the only and main reason why we booked the Soli Hostel room. It is literally 5min drive to Alton Towers. Staff are AMAZING. The best thing about this place has to be the staff. So helpful, friendly and efficient. I can't say enough about them. Really lovely people.

I think £89 for two bunkbeds was a bit overpriced. The room wasn't dirty but wasn't well cleaned either. The shower room (en-suite) was very basic. Mold in the shower. Not very clean.
