Seaside Seashell Suite

the flat was a ground floor flat so no steps, dog friendly, spacious, well equipped, warm and cosy, clean and tidy. we had a lovely stay and we were fortunate with the weather

parking may be an issue if you like to park outside, we were lucky when we arrived and parked outside but when we went out in the car the spaces were filled and we parked right on the end. This isn’t an issue to us.

the property was beautifully decorated and clean. the garden was a good addition for the dogs. good facilities you would have everything you needed if you were cooking. it was warm and cosy the owner was polite and kind.

Good location. Nice, clean, spacious apartment. Comfy sofa. Warm duvet on bed.

Very dim lighting especially in the kitchen. Went very cold quickly once the heating went off and couldn't see how to turn it back on. Bathroom quite cold.

couldn’t control the heating was on constantly, boiler loud at night , beds uncomfortable, kitchen very dark needs brighter light .messaged hosts a few times no response.

All the decor in the apartment and attention to detail, spacious, clean, warm, location and easy access to garden for the dogs.

No tea or coffee , or washing up liquid as only stayed one night, the bin had previous stays rubbish in and had not been emptied (this is asked of you before you leave), dirty laundry left outside the apartments front door. Extra charge for dogs which was stated after we had paid for the stay instead of stating up front and paying at the same time as accommodation.

there was nothing left for us by way of coffee/tea/milk. I would have expected at least these basics. worst of all there was NO TOILET PAPER! not a scrap, and no bathroom bin.

Beautifully decorated clean apartment. Huge space which we loved! Brilliant living room and kitchen space. Beautiful bathroom! Great shower! Very comfy big bed with lovely bed sheets. Easy to get the key and lock the doors when arriving and leaving. Lovely booklet explaining what local restaurants are good and transport links. We always managed to park outside the house with no problems. We were working in St Anne’s at Lightworks on a creative project for the week which was only a 10 min drive so perfect for us. We only really saw St Anne’s in the dark in the evenings but it looked really nice. The place had such a lovely feel to it, we really enjoyed our stay. Can imagine staying in the summer and strolling to be the beach would be nice.

There was an overwhelming smell of wet dog when we first walked in. This lingered but got less strong though out stay. The smell was mostly in the hall wall between the door and the bedroom. We couldn’t smell it in the bed room which we were so glad about. We know pets are aloud in the apartments so maybe we could have expected this but it really was a very strong smell on day one and two especially. We had to buy some air freshener and open the windows on the first night to try to shift the smell. Would be good to have some washing up liquid, kitchen roll and a bathroom bin. Couldn’t get a Wi-Fi connection. Didn’t really matter to us too much because we were working out of the house in the days and just watched telly in the evening but we tired to connect a few times and couldn’t even with the password. These are only little things, the biggest thing was the wet dog smell but not sure how easy this would be to fix.

Everything

Larger than expected, very cosy it was like coming home.. everything we needed apart from a fresh coffee maker. Local to all amenities.

Parking was difficult but when we returned in the evening it was better.. I couldnt find sheets for the sofa bed and wifi instructions didnt work. Fortunately,i dont travel without my own bedding. dog poo outside from previous guest, which i cleaned up.
