There was nothing to like about this apartment

The apartment was absolutely filthy in fact there so many safety and health and hygiene issues I took photographs of the many things wrong with it in fact we left a day early and I asked the owner for a refund and he refused so I am going to forward the photos to you so you can see for yourself how terrible it was

The apartment was perfectly located for our needs and there is free onroad parking

The kitchen wasn't clean (burnt food in the oven, rusty pans, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, i could go on). The kitchen was also missing many basics, a couple of examples being an oven tray and chopping board. The apartment also had a strong smell of cigarettes, even though I was told it was non-smoking. The communication was poor. It took 3 attempts over many days to get answers regarding the apartment ahead of our stay and I still haven't received any response regarding my concerns about the apartment left 3 days ago (during my stay). It's rare for me to leave feedback like this, If there was a willingness from the owner to communicate or support guests, I probably wouldn't have. I was/am disappointed on many levels.

Great location. Biggest downside is that heating is controlled remotely, so it was on when we were out and not on when we needed it. Very cold on getting up in the morning and in the evening. Had to ask every day for radiators to come on. Needed a good clean.

Apartment cold.., heating went on at 4 till 7 pm !! No way of keeping it on ..which is ridiculous given the temperature outside was very cold .

Nicely decorated, mostly very clean, perfect location, nice size rooms, nice home, lovely airy bright rooms

Couldn’t find full bedding for the sofa bed and didn’t get a reply from the host when I messaged to ask (never did get a response even after our stay). There was a double quilt in the wardrobe but it smelt of dog :( No bottom sheet so had to sleep directly on the out folded sofa surface. Not ideal. A bit cold in the night too but didn’t want to pull the doggy blanket up closer to my face! Lack of cleaning equipment (no cloth or sponge in the kitchen) so struggled to keep it clean whilst working int he kitchen - we used the tea towel as a cloth for surfaces int he end.

I stayed at the ground floor flat for six days and overall it was a nice stay. The flat is bigger than the pictures make it seem and it is beautifully decorated with lots of cute seaside touches like the distance boards on driftwood etc. It has large windows so it is very light and airy. Really good shower. TV in lounge was fine, did not try one in kitchen. Wi-Fi worked well. It is really well located for town and beach. The neighbours are very nice too. Easy to get the keys and no hassle with the lock box so ideal if you don't know when you are arriving! The heating was broken when I arrived and the owners sorted it quickly which was appreciated. I really liked the flat overall.

The main problem is that the flat is very cold and the heating is externally controlled by the owners and set at 20 degrees - however, I think the thermostat must be in the kitchen as the bedroom and lounge area seemed constantly colder than that plus it must be turned off from the evening until the morning as it is very cold then. Although they say you can text them to boost it, they did not do this when I did ask. I didn't mind so much for myself as fortunately I had a throw in the car but my elderly father stayed in to watch my dog for a few hours and got really cold which was very annoying to me, as it isn't especially cheap and it just seems a bit unreasonable to limit heat so much. I don't expect it to be really warm as it is December but you should be able to sit for a couple of hours without your finger tips going blue in my opinion! There are quite a few small things missing that would make life easier - there was no washing up liquid or bin bags or kitchen roll so I had to go and get some. I usually travel with my preferred cleaning spray and wipes because of my dog but I forgot the spray this time and there is no cleaning products in the flat,.which is unusual. The kitchen bin was also completely full when I arrived. I was alone so it was fine but there also was not much cutlery. I don't think there was enough for four people. The main garden isn't secure and the inner, more secure part has a lot of debris in so I had to supervise my dog at all times as I didn't want him going in it but it is a good facility to have. Parking was on street and fine but on one occasion I had to park on an adjacent street and then move the car later at night. It might be tricky in summer if you are planning on moving your car a lot as it is not permit controlled and the location is so good for the area, I suspect many people will park for work and leisure when coming into town.

The apartment was in a residential, quiet area. The apartment was clean and quite large. Comfortable bed.

The kitchen was good but it was missing a few small items. Now that the weather is getting colder it needs some more heating in the evening.

We loved everything about this property right near the centre 5/10 min walk to the beach parking outside little garden with a slide and trampoline for the kids with seating area lovely home inside with a stunning kitchen with its own tv plus the island is stunning to with plenty of room this home is more than what we expected very cosy and clean bathroom was up to date and clean with cleaning products and towels with a ready made bed we are very grateful to Charlotte and Brendan for letting us stay in there home for the night we wished we booked longer and we definitely we be booking again in the future for longer with the prices being very good for what you get thank you once again and would highly recommend to anyone staying in St Anne’s!

Loved the theming and it had everything that a family of four needed. Great location to explore the area and dive into Blackpool. Staff were very quick to respond.
