Casa Vitani

Location was quiet in a small pedestrians only narrow street Very close to station, ferry, restaurants & shops. Apartment had necessary air-conditioning. A washing machine & dishwasher. Bedrooms were separated by curtains and had a lot of storage space. Excellent shower & lots of hot water. Fully modernised & brightly decorated apartment. Very comfortable.Stefano was a friendly, helpful host & contacted us on WhatsApp during our 3 nights stay in Como. He spoke good English.

Entry to apartment is up 3 flights of steep stairs. Could be a problem for a family with young children or older guests. Difficult to take cases to third floor where the apartment is located. No elevator.

The apartment is in a great location within the old city, 10-15 minutes walking distance from the 2 train stations, and only a few minutes from the lakeside. All the shops, restaurants, supermarkets, sights and ferries are nearby. There is just about everything you could possibly need provided for you in the apartment, and it is all in good condition and of good quality. Stefano the owner is a great communicator, he makes sure you are well settled in; we stayed 6 nights and we had contact on most of those days just to check everything was ok.

There was nothing at all which we disliked about the apartment, the only thing that could possibly be a problem for some people is the 51 steps up to the third floor, so not ideal if you have very large suitcases.

The location is perfect, downtown! 12min walking from San Giovanni train station and 5min walking from como lake. You feel home, from olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee cups, water, nothing missing… grazie

This apartment is a wonderful place for a stay in Como. It is right in the historical centre, close to the lake and to city life, but still quiet, very clean, spacious, beautifully arranged and well equipped with everything you may need. The host was extremely kind and caring. I was pleasantly impressed and would definitely recommend it.

Stefano was very helpful and supportive. Treated us with perks like prosecco and coffee capsules. The check in was smooth.

Everything was perfect, Stafano was very helpful and informative. Apartman was very nice and clean with everything you need. Higly recommend.

The apartment was centrally located, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, exceptionally clean, bright and cheery.
