Een heel fijn verblijf gehad in een rustige omgeving op loopafstand (10 min.) van een paar restaurantjes aan de doorgaande weg Vanaf daar ook goede busverbinding. Strandjes op resp. 10 tot 25 min. lopen. Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van een fiets, wat iets meer vrijheid geeft. De cabaña is sfeervol ingericht: er is aandacht besteed aan details Het is omgeven door groen en je ziet verschillende vogels, paar eekhoorns en er scharrelen kippen rond. Foto's op site geven goed weer hoe het eruit ziet. Voorzien van o.a. airco en klamboe, een heerlijke 'spa-douche' en gebruik van de keuken (in bijgebouw). Goed verzorgd en heerlijk ontbijt.

Our host went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The gardens are stunning and the breakfast was incredible.

Uniqueness of design

Villa ovita constantly scores a 10 and there is a reason why, Damith, the owner has poured his heart and soul into to the place. It’s absolutely beautiful. I saw both properties and if anything they are better than the photos. There are thoughtful touches everywhere. Delicious breakfasts. Damith is so kind and helpful and works so hard. We felt very looked after. I feel lucky to have stayed at Villa ovita and experience such wonderful hospitality.

Eine mehr als außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Wir hatten einige schöne Unterkünfte auf Sri Lanka, aber diese hat durch ihre Einzigartigkeit alles getoppt. Man fühlt sich, als wohne man mittem im Dschungel. Das Bad mit freistehende Badewanne ist Hammer. Am Morgen beim leckeren Frühstück nach Sri Lanka-Art kann man Vögel und Streifenhörnchen beim Fressen beobachten. Der Gastgeber ist auch super freundlich und spricht gute Englisch. Absolute Empfehlung.

Absolutely exceptional - I have been fortunate enough to travel to 34 countries and this will honestly be one of, if not the most memorable places I’ve ever been. Incredible host, super tasty breakfast and a beautiful location nestled in what feels like the jungle, while also being minutes away from the beach. I also loved the local feel of the area the accommodation is located. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

The best place we've ever been. The apartment is in paradise, with animals like birds, squirrels. The breakfast is amazing, the host is so friendly, you can feel like you are at home. I can't imagine how could anyone rate this place lower than maximum! Thank you for these 3 days, and Happy Birthday for your cute girl!

Our stay at this place was wonderful. The property is extremely aesthetic, everything is done with great taste, and the overall atmosphere is excellent. The water was hot and flowed well, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were also ceiling fans. The design and details throughout the place are elegant and thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the host made a genuine effort to adapt it to our personal tastes, which we appreciated very much. The host, Damith, was kind and pleasant, very helpful with anything we needed, and also someone you can talk with and learn from about Sri Lanka and the surroundings. The garden is truly exceptional, with a swing among the trees and various animals around that did not disturb at all, but rather enhanced the beauty and peacefulness of the environment. The place is located in a pleasant neighborhood that can be easily reached on foot from the main road. For those wondering what to do in Talpe, this location is highly recommended. It is about 30 km from Galle, which can be easily reached by train, tuk-tuk, or bus from the main road. In addition, there are small, undeveloped beaches nearby where giant turtles swim, and the area is not crowded with tourists.
