Ivory House

Well appointed and modern. Clean throughout. Comfortable beds and amazing showers. Hot Tub and Table Tennis a bonus. Location great for sea front. All in all this is a fantastic house.

Steep stairs might be a problem for elderly guests, although one bedroom is on the ground floor. Kitchen appliances and Hot Tub kept tripping although when I spoke with the maintenance team it was a known issue which was due to be fixed. It didn't impact our weekend too badly. No fault of venue but finding a parking space was difficult.

Plenty of space, each room has an en suite, hot tub was lovely and it's literally on top of the beach.

Incredibly close to some noisy neighbours, have to keep bedroom blinds closed as they about 8 feet to neighbours bedroom windows and can see right through. Floors are quite uneven and stairs are VERY steep, not good for elderly. Be aware entrance is down a side gate to the left of 68 Avondale road and property is actually 68a Avondale road. No parking.

Everything! Fantastic location next to the beach, the accommodation was immaculate and extremely well equipped. Outstanding value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Not really the property owners fault but I wasn’t impressed with dog poo left in the garden by the previous guests.

The property is very near to the beach and has 6 bedrooms. Pets are allowed although we did not have one. All the bedrooms were as described and had a kitchen which was well equipped. All utility items were there except a washing machine.

The keys to the property have to be collected from a different address. The property is accessed through a side gate which was not mentioned in the booking and also the address is 68A and not 68. There is no dedicated parking and I had difficulty in finding a parking space near by to offload our bags. There was a hot tub as described, which we did not use as there was no privacy. There was a problem with a faulty electrical appliance (hot tub?) and so the plug points in kitchen were not working frequently including the one connected to the fridge/freezer. When we called the maintenance, the person came quickly but said that he was not an electrician and simply advised us to use the RCD unit to switch the sockets back on.

The house was lovely, very spacious, very clean inside, well stocked with kitchen items, towels and toiletries. The garden was nice and the table tennis was good. Brilliant location minutes from the beach, a splash pad and park. And a couple of restaurants extra.

The hot tub was dirty and full of sand with hardly any water in it when we got there, so much foaming when turned on, after maintenance team came the next morning this was still the case and the water was then green so we were unable to use it again.

Great location. House very spacious and clean. Hot tub was good.

Neighbours looking over the garden fence to see who was making noise. Hot tub wasn't overly clean.
