The Station

The staff were very friendly and checked several times that I was okay. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There were plenty of teabags and enough milk, which was good in the morning. Being so close to the train station is very handy and it is good value for money.

No breakfast but you know that in advance. A few biscuits in the room would be good though and helpful as you do miss breakfast!

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Service Quality Hello, I have been a regular client of The Station for four years now, and I have already made several bookings with you. However, I have recently noticed a worrying change in the team, along with a clear decline in the quality of service. Several issues are concerning: The heating in the rooms no longer works, The kitchen is often closed, Breakfast has been discontinued, And, most importantly, there is a complete lack of communication. Last night, I was locked outside when I returned around 1:30 a.m.: no one had provided me with the access code for the back door to enter the building. I called the number listed on the reservation four times, and each time I reached only a voicemail. As a result, I had to take a taxi and stay somewhere else at my own expense. This situation is unacceptable and reflects a clear lack of professionalism.

Staff were friendly. Location was good for what we needed.

Room was shabby and unclean - the carpet was grubby and there was thick dust on the pipes in the ensuite.

Short stay for work, very handy for a rail link to London, very friendly and helpful Staff. I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area. Room quiet even though was on a road and bed comfortable.

Nothing really, pity they weren't doing food.
