The Station

Room appeared to be freshly decorated. Was light and airy.

Small car park.

The only bad part was thay done away with the guest kitchen. Namely microwave bread and milk.

Gute Anbindung nach London, praktisch für Anreise oder Abreise ins Ausland.

Licht und Boiler im Bad werden durch Ziehen an Schnüren eingeschaltet, es ist aber nicht klar, welche Schnur wofür ist, und man muss ziemlich heftig ziehen. Ich musste zweimal nachfragen, bevor ich warm duschen konnte.

The staff were friendly and tried to help.

The first room we were given had no light in the bathroom, so we had to move. The second room initially seemed fine, but later I discovered that only the main light worked. Since I was traveling with my 8-year-old, I had hoped to read quietly while she slept, but without a smaller bedside light I had no choice but to go to bed at the same time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep anyway because the noise from the bar was very loud, and I could clearly hear conversations from my room. On top of that, the WiFi didn’t work until the next morning.
