Soetgeluk Farm Cottage

Great cottage withe everything we needed for our short stay - fully equipped kitchen, hairdryer, and even an iron and ironing board (which was useful as we were attending a wedding). We also appreciated the electric blankets on the beds. Perfect location to attend a wedding at Stable View next door. And only a 30min drive from Sterkfontein Caves.

Just a note that the cottage does get really cold in winter, and there isn’t any heating - so come prepared. The electric blankets on the beds are awesome and we slept warmly, but we found it a bit cold to relax in the cottage in the afternoon/evening.

Very Neat, beds comfortable, beautiful and restful area.

I would suggest that the one peace seating and table facility outside have more shadow and an exstra toilet will be great😅

The host Welma was very friendly and welcoming, the rooms very spacious and neat. bedding was soft, comfy and super clean smelled good. had everything you need, actually home away from home. I borrowed a potjie pot from the host. will recommend this place to others.

Weber braai is missing the air plate below so have to put water on the ground to stop coals burning the grass

It was an amazing experience, beautiful cottage with and amazing garden and peaceful with wildlife in abundance
