Soetgeluk Farm Cottage

The cottage was beautiful. Everything you can need was there. The garden was stunning and the braai area was just perfect. I enjoyed taking time to listen to the birds early morning the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Then of course the fresh air. I needed a weekend away out of the city and this was just perfect. Will come back again.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Very affordable and pleasant owner who was flexible around arrival and departure times and helped with a restaurant recommendation. Comfortable beds and little extras, like filter coffee and rusks.

The bedrooms don't have doors, so privacy is not great, but the owner says she's planning on installing barn doors, which would be a great fix. The lighting could also be better (often an issue in thatch buildings). But we would happily visit again, hopefully after the rains, when everything is less dry and dusty in the region.

Everything were perfect

Very quiet. Had everything we needed for self catering. Gas stove/ oven. They provided extra touches like tea, coffee, milk, rusks, sugar, sunlight soap. Lovely farm to walk on.

The pin location took us to a completely different place. Use Google Maps instead of Maps

Spacious, well equipped with some small extras rhat made it excellent. Secure and clean. Enjoyed our stay !

Secluded location with lovely surroundings. Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering breakaway. Warm welcome by host and special extras like filter coffee and rusks were a real treat
