The location, nearby river and quiet countryside surround

The room (Myriad): Plenty of hanging space but no shelves on which to put flat clothes, no chair. Lock on en-suite door broken Door handle on shower broken Rain shower head broken/damaged/corroded Handheld shower bracket could not be secured at any height, it just slides down the pole. All of the above had probably been like it for some time and cleaning or maintenance staff should have been aware.

Loved it, beautiful space and lovely treehouse. Staff were very accommodating too.

Only downside was no toilet in the treehouse but wasn’t a big deal.

Absolutely lovely place, the staff are kind and accommodating particularly good for those travelling with children. The river boating and swimming pool are a highlight whilst the grounds are beautifully kept in a relaxed and countryside feel not overly manicured! Tasty pizzas for dinner and at breakfast we particularly loved the homemade granola, yogurt and local fruit compote, so delicious. There is a multitude of local beaches, pubs and other activities or you can just enjoy being at this gorgeous relaxing place. A complete change of pace to our usual city life.

The only adjustment we would ask for would be a slight variation on pizza as this was served every night we stayed during a multi night stay. Appreciate this is a solid option for lots of different needs. We enjoyed the different ingredients and flavours that were from the kitchen garden. Maybe some more of these elements could be incorporated for the breakfast offering, alternative hash / scramble/ omelettes with produce from garden.

We stayed in a yurt which was beautifully positioned in front of the lake with comfy beds and everything we needed. The toilet and bathroom facilities were centrally placed to serve everybody and are hotel standard - tastefully decked out, very clean and great showers. Loved the decor and style of the whole place; so natural and yet plenty of character. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to be kind and helpful and the relaxed vibe was tangible. As for the Library - wow! Just a stunning space. The pool was awesome too, perfect temperature amidst gorgeous surroundings. I could rave about this place all day and can’t wait to go back!

The location is absolute paradise!

Not much really, could be a more varied menu for lunches and dinner, and more dairy free options.
