"A Perfect Rural Retreat"

This is an idyllic place in the middle of the countryside. On the day of my stay the weather was perfect which added to the magic. I was travelling alone and had a small double glamping hut which was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The outdoor swimming pool was clean and warm enough for a comfortable swim. Boating on the lake is free and life jackets are provided. The cafe food was adequate, some things were a little expensive. I cycled to the retreat and there is a long and rough track to get to there which may be a problem for some cyclists.

It was absolutely perfect for switching off from the world. We were very disappointed by the breakfast we were presented cold food without being asked how we wanted it, poor hubby was given white coffee when he always has black then charged £15. What made it worse the next day they had lots of lovely fresh food out
The grounds were stunning and well kept .
