Ruby Cruise

The stay on the cruise was amazing. We had Thang as our guide and he was incredible. He explained everything in detail, always with good jokes and an amazing photographer. We loved the stay!

The cruise as well as the staff was superb...they helped solving all queries on whatsapp once we booked. Despite one of us being a vegetarian, they were very kind to accomodate and make available good vegetarian food. They helped arrange for transport to and fro from hanoi, we had one way free transport. Tang was our guide throughout the cruise and he is amazing - always helpful and smiling 😊..we enjoyed the activities and the kids didn't want to return from the cruise trip! Room and bathroom were comfortable...the boat isn't very big which was a major advantage as it felt personal rather than commercial. Activities are well done, the kids enjoyed the spring rolls class and squid fishing. The trip to surprise cave was superb. The food was also very good and beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend the cruise to all.

Cleaning of the rooms could be improved , specially state of the bed sheets. We had confirmed to be on the free shuttle bus from Hanoi, but had mistakenly been put on a premium bus that morning, to which it was too late to rectify when noticed. Later the operator for the cruise tried to make me pay for this different bus despite it being entirely her fault. Then she tried bartering for me to pay 50%. Thankfully, our guide for the cruise Kim recognised that the error was not on our part and we didn’t have to pay the difference. Drinks in the boat are really expensive as it is (which we were ok with), however, when we went to check they charge an extra 10% just because we are on a boat. Another passenger on the cruise noticed that it was not mentioned anywhere previously, not even on the menu. Eventually our table didn’t pay for the 10%.

Great cruise for couples. Safety and felt like private cruise.
