Lavendra Villa Mirissa

Quiet place, friendly staff.

Bad maintenance of the pool area, hard beds.

Location was great for us, in between Mirissa and Weligama beaches. A little out but we had a moped so was only 10 mins to each. Pool was nice and cleaned daily. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and helped us to hire a moped and book a turtle snorkeling trip.. both at great prices compared to what was being offered in the town. Would definitely stay again

location is not the best, it is a bit far from the center.

The staff was lovely and extremely helpful, the pool was a really nice touch and we could rent bycicles for free.

Lets start with the staff. They were amazing and very helpful, speaks very good english and fix everything if you needed. (Inc. Transfers that were very reasonable price.) Room was clean, bed was comfy. There were A/C that works most of the time. Toilet was big, clean and shower was good. Poolarea was great. Big clean pool with sunbeds. Just be careful at the pool area. When pool area gets wet it is very slippery. Sunbeds were outdated but they work so nothing to complain about that. We haven't problem to get ones when we needed but maybe couple of sunbeds more would be useful. Breakfast was good and basic. Hotel is little bit far away from Mirissa. So you need to rent scooter/tuktuk by yourself or take tuktuk with driver. No any soundproofing so you really hear all the lovely noicy bird sounds to your room early morning. But no traffic or bar music sounds. Hotel has 4 little turtles backyard. They were lovely. Only thing we were missing in the room was some kind of mosquito net. (We get eaten pretty much.) And some little fridge would be nice. (We luckily get permission to keep our drinks at their fridge near their kitchen so that was ok too!) Otherwise we think this is worth of the money and we loved to stay here 3 nights when we stayed at Mirissa!
