"An Exceptionally Great Stay at The Crown in Downham Market!"

We just loved staying at The Crown Hotel in Downham Market! Everything about the hotel was exceptional, from the delicious full English breakfasts, clean rooms with fresh linen, character of the hotel and it's history and it's interesting décor, to the quant hotel bar (which was always busy at night), to the very friendly and helpful owners and staff, our stay exceeded any expectations we had. This is a true English Hotel with character and we will definitely stay there on our next trip to the UK. The location is prefect walking distance to shops, supermarkets, laundromat and cafes and restaurants. We just loved "Henry"!! Just perfect!! :)

We had nothing to complain about - as it is an óld' (1640) English hotel!.

Location. Historical charm

No one around on arrival to check us in. Very basic room. Everything very old and shabby, but definitely not chic! Uncomfortable and small double bed. Old pillows and bed linen. Bathroom light didn’t work
