Ideal base for exploring Northumberland. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining / living room. Comfortable beds. Shower in bath works fine. Quiet site. Good value for money.

A few small details that could be addressed, though these didn't spoil our enjoyment: wobbly toilet seat in main bathroom which also doesn't stay up; door to en suite bathroom doesn't close; no washing machine, as several guests noted in the guest book, though we didn't need one; bedside lamps/lights would be nice, as would some power sockets for plugging in the lamps in living room; wobbly decking board at the top of the outside steps (right hand side) and wobbly hand rail alongside steps. Crazy Horse bar was pretty tacky - when we arrived, they had already stopped serving food (at 8pm) and the bingo was loud and prevented us from even whispering to each other in the side area without getting a 'sshhh' - the activities are probably fine for families with kids however.

Very clean good facilities. Lovely quite site, short walk to the pub.

Bedroom door and onsweet bathroom door don't close to what looks like previous water damage, wasn't much of an issue for us as we where there on are own but if we had gone with friends or our kids there's no privacy.

The property was in a perfect location for our plans. The kitchen was well equipped and it was clean and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable.

These are not complaints but observations. The main bedroom had mould in one corner and the bedroom and en-suite doors would not close. The decking outside the patio doors could use some TLC.

Beautiful stay. Relaxing. Felt my grandson's were safe to explore the place.
