Large 2 Bed Edinburgh City Centre Apartment - FREE Parking

Avoid at all cost!! Grant , the landlord is hugely dishonest. He has been advertising the property as 2 bathroom for over a year now…but it is not!! He has been messaging people the night before to tell them their en-suite may be unavailable. We needed 2 bathrooms and wouldn’t have booked it if it was just one bathroom. He thought offering a 10% discount would satisfy us…but we wouldn’t have stayed there with 100% discount. We booked the property in September, he took our money in October, he didn’t tell us til the night before that there was no en-suite. If you read previous reviews , he knew when he took our money there was no en-suite…he’s been doing it to people for a year. So we booked another property with 2 bedrooms and assumed he would do the right thing and give us a full refund. He wouldn’t. When we try ringing him he either doesn’t answer or pretends that he isn’t Grant. So as I say, avoid avoid avoid. We’ve done quite a bit of digging on the company that owns this property…interesting reading for sure. But we’ll let Grant sweat on that for now….nothing that isn’t easily found on a quick google search though. We’ve kept all the relevant screen shots of our chats with Grant and the false advertising….might take us a while to get our money back..but if we have to go to court we will

The Landlord

Location was great, host was nice, very spacious accommodation, the property could be outstanding just feel it needs the TLC it deserves as it could be a stunning property.

No en suite, (host did apologise for this) sofa poor not comfortable, tv poor remote hardly worked, toilet flush broke, floor boards very noisy, carpets needed cleaning, pots dirty, very cold even though we tried turning the heating up it seemed to stop at 20 degrees

We loved the location and the property itself.

The en-suite was out of order.

Nothing just perfect

Location. Kitchen was very well equipped. Accommodated us arriving an hour early.

Unfortunately the ensuite was unable. Curtain poles were very flimsy and we were worried they’d break.

The location was perfect - right close to Prince's Street, with easy access to Uber pickup and beautiful views of the castle just a short walk away. Tesco express just around one corner, and a lane full of restaurants, pubs and shops right next door. The home was really lovely, well-equipped, and warm! Our host was super helpful and responsive too 🙏 Parking was a walk away from the apartment, but was secure and simple to access Surprisingly quiet too - we had a very relaxing stay 😁
