Large 2 Bed Edinburgh City Centre Apartment - FREE Parking

Unfortunately the ensuite was out of order which although told two days before arrival we really were disappointed because we booked specifically a 2 bathroom property and it was too late to get something else.

It’s cozy and clean, a comfortable stay. The beds were soft and warm, which was very much welcome in 16C weather. Felt like a cozy apartment. Location is fantastic, there’s a Sainsbury Local two blocks down, and a view of Edinburgh Castle across the street. Half a mile to the Royal Mile and Victorias Street. Lothian bus stop a few blocks away as well.

Messaging the property manager via the app is a bit of a pain, the manager noted that they were having issues with the app. Would recommend setting up other avenues of communication with the property manager ahead of time. WiFi was also a little spotty sometimes.

This apartment is in a great location. The photos on the site are accurate. Kitchen is well appointed. Dishwasher and clothes washer. Small coffee plunger. Bedrooms are quite large and airy. Parking not on site but any parking in Edinburgh is great. Easy to come and go.

The apartment had a few things missing or broken. I am sure they have been replaced now as Grant was attentive. Parking police are everywhere in Edinburgh and my husband was asked to move along when I was still unloading. Not a real problem I just waited and he arrived back eventually. We left on a Sunday which was much quieter and easy to load. There is free parking on Sunday mornings on many streets in Edinburgh, so once loaded we could park easily on George st.

Fantastic location in walking distance to Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, great flat with full kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spacious living room. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Not a criticism of the property really, but more of heads up for families with little ones, this is a very busy urban area with lots of rowdy drunken 20-somethings enjoying themselves in the evenings. We arrived at about 11:30 on a Saturday night and briefly parked in an alley while I got the keys and entered the property. As I was doing that, my wife and kids were in the car and were treated to the sight of a very drunk young man reliving himself, and then continuing to play with himself, right in front of our car. Luckily my youngest daughter was asleep so not quite as bad as it could have been, I suppose. Also, while it’s great that the property has parking, it’s about a 15 minute walk and for those unfamiliar with driving in Edinburgh it can be a little tricky. But again, no complaints about the actual property itself, and Grant made everything very easy!

The location is exceptional and the property is spacious and comfortable.

The plumbing was a little quirky...

Great location off Princess St. with nice pubs and restaurant in the next street. Very nice lounge, well equipped kitchen and 2 spacious bedroom (one ensuite)

Beds a bit too small for Europeans as the rooms were big enough to accommodate a king size. The ensuite bedroom had a street light right in front that was very annoying because the curtains were light and detached from the window. The other bedroom had a venetian blind that solved the problem.There was odour from the drains in the ensuite bathroom. Parking was a disaster as it says on Booking that it's on site, but instead you have to drive 15 minutes to reach it through very convoluted and narrow alleys (beware if you have a large car)... it's difficult to find and when you finally get in, the allocated space it's for a small/medium car. This should be sad in advance! Host not very accommodating (asked about leaving 2 small trolleys after checkout, no way) and very late responding to messages.

Beautiful big rooms with lots of light. Well equipped kitchen. The location could not be better, so handy for bars, restaurants, and shops. Very good communication from the host.

The car park was a very small space tricky to get into, but the host organised for the car to be moved a little next to it, so that helped when it came to getting out of it.

Location was perfect as was size of apartment

Location was fantastic.

Beds and pillows were terrible, we all awoke with headaches and sore necks . Standard of cleaning was very poor, carpets heavily stained. Stains found on pillows. Definitely needs a makeover. Unloading bags a nightmare, despite assurances from owner had a parking inspector tell us to unload on the street and move the car now or be fined. Parking garage a joke, hard to find and impossible to get into. Gave up and paid for a carpark. Would not stay again.
