FRThis is my second stay at The Bowman's. For me, it's good value for money, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and within walking distance of where I need to be in Howden. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room and an added bonus of toiletries in the bathroom, if needed. Although they don't serve breakfast, I found a great cafe / pub next to the Minster in the Market Square which served a delicious and varied breakfast menu.
For me there was nothing to dislike. For anyone new to the area though, be aware the accommodation is not close to the station. I was picked up from the station, so for me it was ok. You would either need to arrange transport (a taxi) into Howden or be prepared for a good walk.
