GBGBIt is a very convenient location for visiting our son. There had been some refurbishment done on the corridor to the rooms which was needed and is lovely. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Only thing is the transport to and from station apart from that the rooms are perfect.which transport is nothing to do with the hotel

No breakfast, the rooms were a little dated deco wise.

GBI booked to stay here as i was doing a charity walk from barnsley to bridlington and this was my first stop off point.. very easy to find, the barmaid who checked me in was very polite and showed me the works of things, even offered for me to join in on the disco/dj night.. can’t complain about the noise because what else can i expect if i book on a friday in a small village and i was that worn out after walking 12 hours i was too drained to be that bothered (even if i hadn’t walked it still wouldnt be bothered)..even the cleaner (vicki) on the morning shift was a lovely woman got chatting to her and she was very keen about my walk.. definitely recommend if you want a cheap but enjoyable night away.. thank you!!
