Good sized single room at a good price. Convenient location for Trans Pennine Trail

Water pressure was a bit low. Some drunken noise but not bad for staying in a town pub.

Live band in the pub vibrated the room and couldn't sleep

Right in the Centre of Howden, lots of parking available at the rear. We received a warm welcome, room was basic, clean & tidy but a little dated. It had a kettle with tea and coffee and some toiletries in the bathroom. Ideal for our 1 night visit to catch up with friends that live in Howden.

Shower was just a dribble but it was hot. We stayed on a Saturday and there was a very loud live band on in the bar and our room was just above! Didn't bother us as we were in the bar anyway but might be worth checking if theres live music on if you like an early night!!

Breakfast could be served earlier than 12pm, we went somewhere that was recommended by staff, only around the corner so all good.

Great pub and atmosphere.

Outside smoking area immediately below hotel rooms. Smokers, after closing, showing no consideration for those wanting to sleep. Very loud conversations. A sign would help reminding those congregating in this area to show some consideration by keeping the noise to a minimum.

Ideal location and very friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Comfy bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very good, the bed was so comfortable. Thank you for everything.

Not being able to have breakfast till 12 p.m., we had to go to a cafe in the town.

Location good. Staff very helpful especially the female bar staff who were very good with our little dog and they helped us get an Uber to our event and Nathan who very kindly picked us up from the event when we could not get a taxi back - all very helpful, friendly and went the extra mile, thank you ! Drinks reasonable prices. Good parking. Good value for money.
