Casa Alemán

One of our favourite places we stayed in our trip around Latin America. Wish we had stayed longer. The photos don’t do it justice, the space is lovely to relax in, the hosts are friendly and speak good English.

Not an issue but it’s cold water shower only.

The property was above our expectations. The place was amazing, the view was perfect, the room was more than enough for two people, it has everything that two persons need. We went in good weather conditions so we had de opportunity to appreciate the view. We definitely recommend Casa Aleman. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Krásný výhled na jezero.

Ubytování nemá okna,takže veškerý hluk z okolí je slyšet. Nutné špunty do uší. Ve sprše teče pouze studená voda. Příjezd vhodný jen pro auto 4x4. Postel je velmi tvrdá. Do koupelny je vidět z venku. Chybí mikrovlnná trouba. Nelze zatemnit.

Everything is beautiful, clean and homely. The view of the lake and the sunset is amazing. The kitchen is a great facility.

Casa Aleman è una sistemazione luminosa, fresca e molto confortevole. Si trova in una posizione tranquilla, lontana dal traffico e dagli insetti del paese, ideale per riposare davvero bene. Gli ambienti sono curati e piacevoli, perfetti dopo una giornata di spostamenti o visite. La cucina è attrezzata e pulitissima, cosa non scontata e molto apprezzabile. La casa è gestita da una signora estremamente gentile e premurosa, sempre disponibile ma allo stesso tempo molto riservata. Un piccolo consiglio: la casa è vicina alla campagna e i versi degli animali si fanno sentire, soprattutto al mattino presto; per chi ha il sonno leggero è utile portare con sé dei tappi di cera per le orecchie. Che peraltro userete in molte altre sistemazioni del Guatemala, se non sono animali é il rumore del traffico o fuochi d'artificio o musica. Per chiudere, casa Aleman trasmette calma, attenzione e autenticità, consigliato a chi cerca tranquillità e privacy.

Els amfitrions són molt més que amables. Ens van tractar de 10 i van tenir un parell de detalls tant a l'arribar com amb l'esmorzar que no teniem inclosos. L'habitació és molt gran i no trobaràs a faltar de res. La zona és tranquila i segura. En general estava tot molt net.

El Remate és una zona una mica remota si vens d'una gran ciutat i està envoltada de naturalesa per tant és molt fàcil (tot i que l'apartament era molt net) trobar bitxos a l'habitació, algo normal tenint en compte on vas i imagino que compartit amb la resta d'allotjaments de la zona. Simplement tingueu en compte si t'importa per passar una bona nit. L'apartament tenia repelent de mosquits i alguns insecticides. Per arribar-hi millor que aconsegueixis un transport que et deixi a la porta, el carrer d'accés fa molta pujada si vas a peu i carregat.

Fantastic views, nice appartement, very friendly hosts, good price - performance

Not a real issue for most: Casa Aleman is situated close to town center and lake, easy to reach by foot. However it is a rather steep uphill road to walk to the apartments.

From start to finish our hosts Milvia Pineda and Dethlev Cordts had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Fresh coffee, water, washing facilities, kitchen utensils, travel wash were all on hand. Great balcony area with stunning views. They had thought of everything. We decided to stay an extra day as it was so nice! Close to Tikal without the hustle and bustle of Flores. Made us feel like part of the family. On our last night the ladies cooked us fresh fish dinner with a bottle of wine. Great walk nearby at the Biotope. Can't recommend enough! There is a walk up a little hill to get there so bear this in mind! Well worth it for the sunsets swinging in the hammock! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ladies!
