The Layover

Not a very safe neighborhood.

THE PRICE, but I thought I'd at least be safe. I paid the last bit of money I had for this reservation and extended my time to be safe in a strange city. I would've been safer in a homeless shelter or simply lying out on the streets of Sunnyside, Houston! My Life n Sanity are More precious to Me than the money I lost.

No Refunds! No Security. The Layover is disguised as a hostel, luring unexpected travelers, but is set up like a halfway house for felons. Had to share dorm room and common areas with former inmates, who appeared (got entry) in the middle of the night. U wake up n you're surrounded by prisoners and don't know it. I escaped with My Life. Mgmt only cares abt making money not about human lives - no ethics.

Really dirty, explains the lack of photos, the shower knob is broken. There is no staff on sight. The people I was with in my room were really cool tho. This place has so much more untapped potential.

I really liked how there were people from all different kinds of places. For instance, I met this one dude he was from the Netherlands so I thought that was really cool

I didn’t like the fact that the owner misplaced my belongings so I wasn’t able to find my belongings before I left and I lost a couple items that meant a lot to me. The owner is just irresponsible.

This place has so much more potential lol

Sheets were not changed, people trying to open the door of the private room l was in. know of shower was broken so I couldn't take a shower.

Communication was difficult
