The house is in a good location with lots of street parking. There is a nice backyard area to relax in. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, hotplate, microwave, and space to store food.

There was a major safety concern regarding our room when we arrived. The owner knew about it, but was renting the room out anyway, while waiting on a repairman to be available. He did call the repairman out on an emergency basis and resolved the issue after I voiced serious concern. You need to text the owner to turn on the hot water any time you want to shower. It remains on for only 15 minutes. The ceiling and walls of the shower room have large amounts of mold. There is no sink in the toilet room, so if someone is using the shower room there is no place to wash your hands. We mentioned that we planned to leave very early in the morning, but then our plans changed and we left slightly later (shortly after dawn). Just after 0500, we woke to the owner letting himself into our room and turning on the light. He seemed startled that we were still there and left immediately, but we were shocked that he had entered so early without knocking or otherwise confirming the room was empty.

Great location, very neat and tidy, nice host.

Hot water for the shower only on request, no lock on the bedroom door ( shared facilities). Bathroom ceiling was scary. Lots of rules.

Owners were very nice. Everything was within walking distance. Had lot of laughs in shared living room.

Small kitchen only one person at the time could be in the kitchen. Still workable

needed her husband to be phoned to complete the arrival process as he holds all details which ment a wait If you require hot water you must request it so when I needed a shower at 6.30am it was a cold shower I then received a txt at 7 am saying I would not be able to book the room for a second night ( which I had not requested anyway which seemed odd) Pool there is not to be used which was a disappointment

Ash was a very hospitable and communicative host, who was happy to sort out any issues. A homely place, and great location
