Staff went above & beyond to help any way they could, only 2 blocks from downtown and the beach, quiet neighbourhood with a park just 2 doors down, secured with gate and security camera, infinity hot water & pressure were amazing, and wifi was lightning fast!

Location very good. Nice owners. Quirky. Quiet.

The hosts are truly amazing- they went above & beyond to make my stay wonderfully like home! They are very quick to respond to any request with a simple text. The internet is fast, the property is tranquil, clean and secure, and is located only 2 blocks from Nelson CBD & the beach! I will definitely be coming back to stay & can't recommend them enough.

Close to Nelson city, east to find, friendly owner, however it was not made clear to me on the site that he was renting out a room in the bottom floor of his family home, I thought it was more private or officially run, him and his family was in the rooms next to and above me

kitchen was small, about 1x1M of moving room, no actual stove top/cooking facilities only had a plug in hot plate, cupboard didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while and they left me a mouldy mandarin on the desk in my room (nice thought)

Location, host was approachable

No bedside lights, not enough blankets, hot water running out as owner had a bath, untidy and unclean and lots of rules and notes everywhere instead of hospitality
