Rustic Retreat cottage

Uns hat einfach alles gefallen. Ein kuscheliges kleines Cottage das alles bietet. Voll ausgestattete Küche. Bequeme Matratzen. Fußnah zum Marktplatz. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Autos die vorbeifahren können laut sein.

Beautiful cosy cottage. Very comfortable. Excellent facilities. Parking across the road was a bonus. Very easy to walk into Thirsk. (6 mins walk) Definitely recommend Rustic Retreat and we would definitely book here again if we come back to Thirsk.

We didn't dislike anything!!

The cottage was clean, tidy, and felt surprisingly spacious, and the facilities were all in excellent condition.

Very little. A few creaky floorboards and occasional issues with the (huge) TV struggling to connect to the internet are the only things I could feasibly complain about, but we were out for most of our stay so it wasn't a major problem. The absence of a TV in the main bedroom seemed a strange choice, but again, not a problem for us.

Nice sized room, nice and cozy once we'd figured the heating out. Kitchen utensils, crockery etc were good

Constantly noisy dripping/running tap in the kitchen. Small window at the bottom of the stairs seemed to be warped/faulty and the draught was dreadful during Storm Dave on Saturday night 😬

This is a great place to stay. It has everything you need, and parking right outside is easy. Just 5 muns walk into Thirsk.

The location was great loads of green space to take our dog on walks and just a short walk to town , the cottage is very cosy , with a fantastic tv and lovely large bedroom .

It was perfect for our needs

Very convenient for walking to the town city.

Creaking floor boards upside.

We are repeat attenders at this lovely cottage. It's clean and comfortable and 15 minutes walk from the market square.
