The Hideout

It's a lovely designed, well finished barn conversion. The compact bathroom and kitchen are on the ground floor with a large bedroom on the first floor. Great mattress!

The bathroom door grates against the floor which is irritating especially at night if you have to go to the loo. In our case it wakened my wife unnecessarily.

Perfect place to stay. Lovely area too, would definitely stay there again. Keith was very helpful. The property had everything you needed.

The host was exceptional in his care of me, bringing in my bags and setting up my Care Alarm. The facilities were superb and beyond what I expected, even providing a cafetiere with ground coffee and fresh milk on arrival.

Booking.com didn't make it clear that the bathroom was on a different floor to the bedroom/living room area and that the stairs are not suitable for the elderly or disabled.

Small but perfectly formed! Masses of character.

Can't take a dog (but it's probably too small).

Beautifully finished with lots of care and attention to detail. Really nice space to be in. It was good that it was on two levels so there wasn’t any noise from the kitchen in the bedroom.

The beam did make getting about upstairs a bit difficult - it was a surprise, i hadn’t noticed it was there when i was booking! We also couldn’t find the parking information in the info at all, only on one photo, so that would have been helpful to clarify beforehand
