Serene Spot Close to the Surf Whether you're a surfer looking for easy beach access, or someone who simply wants to unwind in a peaceful setting, Rivinu Place is for you! My partner and I spent 3 weeks at Rivinu Place and loved every minute. The location is unbeatable – just a stone's throw away from the main surfing beach, and a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. But for me, what truly sets this place apart is how peaceful it is. The rooms are surrounded by a beautiful garden that's full of birds. The property is beautifully maintained by the family who runs the hotel. They are such warm, kind people, and the whole place feels very welcoming. Whether you're coming to Arugam Bay to surf, or just to unwind, this place is a great choice! Very highly recommended!

the location is exceptional and the owner is very helpful . The whole place is like it came out of a fairytale . Very beautifully built the whole place and inside the nature.

It is a really nice place managed by a family. They are really kind and can help you when they can. It is really well located near the beach and the main road. The room is nice and clean with a big bed in every room.

At night, sometimes there were no water to take shower. And the room could use more adapter for electric plugs. Moskitos.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need with plenty of shelves and tables to store your luggage. The location is also great. It's located very close to the best beach spots and has plenty of restaurants around, but is also quiet and peaceful. We slept with the windows open and weren't bothered by any noise. The addition of the community kitchen is great, and the kitchen was always clean. Extended our stay here because it was such good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful brand new loft style cabana cabin

The cabana I stayed in was new, apparently I was the first guest. With a good workingn a/c, a nice patio with a bench to sit at and a big bathroom upstairs. The host is very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom has a window overlooking the garden with no blinds (they obviously hadn't thought about it. I asked if they could cover the window and this was immediately sorted. The lights in the cabana do give a nice atmosphere, however, I needed a bit more light at times as it is a bit dark.
