Nonna Milli

Neben dem schönen Ambiente, welches andere *„traditionelle“ Unterkünfte weit in den Schatten stellt, stechen besonders die Serviceleistungen heraus. Es gab angenehme japanische Pyjamas, eine kleine Teebar und einen eigens vom Betreiber bestückten Minikühlschrank mit Getränken. Dazu kommt noch ein leckeres Frühstück. Besonders herausragend ist die Flexibilität des Gastgebers in Punkto Kommunikation. Jederzeit erreichbar, freundlich und schnell beim Beantworten von Fragen oder bei der Herausgabe von Empfehlungen. Nonna Milli liegt zwar etwas am Rand von Matsumoto, aber grade das bietet eine erfrischende Abwechslung zum Trubel von Städten wie Tokio oder Kyoto. *Mit „traditionelle“ ist lediglich gemeint, dass wir erst nach unserem Aufenthalt in Nonna Milli wussten was WIRKLICH traditionell ist ;)

Ein Wäschewaschservice wäre vielleicht noch gut. Dann wäre es Perfekt.

Beautiful traditional Japanese stay. We had a wonderful experience

- mooie originele Japanse inrichting - geweldig gastvrije host (Elia) - leuke begeleiding bij fietstochtje door de lokale rijstvelden - goede suggesties voor echt lokale restaurantjes (vraag naar het Gyoza Restaurant)

De locatie is wat afgelegen ten opzichte van het centrum. Omdat Elia tegen een schappelijk bedrag als shuttle-dienst fungeert is dit echter prima op te vangen.

Traditional feel to the house which is a great novelty. The hosts are really friendly.

The location is a little out from the centre or any walkable locations. Also you're staying in effectively the same vicinity as the hosts.

Had a great stay with Elia and Yurie! They also picked me up and brought me from the train station. The house is a traditional Showa era home with beautiful tatami flooring. They also gave me some great recommendations for places in Matsumoto. If you need to recharge this is a great place. Having a bike was an amazing way to get around and see the surrounding area and city. Bedankt voor alles! En helemaal voor de fiets!

Delicious breakfast and wonderful place. Nice traditional house with a wonderful location for mountain and temple treks. Friendly and easygoing host, with a warm welcome and no problems adapting to our schedule and needs.

The house is clean, beautifully decorated. The host prepares a light homemade breakfast in the morning, and they’re happy to recommend delicious local restaurants for you too. Since the floor is made of tatami, you’ll need to store your suitcase inside the closet. Dragging heavy luggage could damage the floor. If you have a large suitcase or are staying with many people, it might be a bit tricky as you’ll need to take turns opening bags, and may not be able to fully open them. Highly recommended for those traveling by car! If you’re not driving, getting here might be a bit of a challenge, but it’s totally worth it for the experience of living like a local in Japan.

As the house is surrounded by nature, we did come across quite a few millipedes in the room , especially on the ceiling and floor. If you’re uncomfortable with bugs, this might not be the best fit. Hopefully the hosts can find a way to improve this in the future.

La maison japonaise traditionnelle très agréable et le petit déjeuner était très bien.

La maison est un peu à l'écart de la ville mais notre hôte a compensé largement en nous conduisant très souvent.
