The Retreat

Our stay was absolutely beautiful, not a bad word to say about the place, clean and cosy! Everything we needed and more for our weekend. Even Milk, eggs and biscuits treats left for us.

Not a bad word to say about the place. However I personally think a hot tub out on the patio would be lush :)

Everything was very carefully thought of, inside & out. Lovely stay, can’t fault it. The log fire was our highlight 😍 comfy bed, super clean throughout, well equipped kitchen, TY for the toiletries (we left my toiletry bag behind 🤣) Very good use of the space ! Home away from home, peaceful ☺️ Few mins drive into Easingwold, cute little market town, nice for a stroll (or to get some essentials 😜) PS The Christmas tree was also a nice touch 😍 so thoughtful 🎄made it extra special. It was our 13th wedding anniversary & we picked, by far, the best place, we will definitely be back 😊

Lovely location and cottage had everything you need for a short break away. Clean and decorated beautifully. The bi-fold doors out to the courtyard is a fantastic addition!!! Additional touches were appreciated too.

Tasteful decor, lots of nice touches, lots of space, comfy sofas. Left us eggs, milk and biscuits which were not expected and cheered up a tired arrival. Good nature space outside. Lovely little courtyard space created outside cottage.

as a shortie I found the mirrored bathroom cabinet set too high and cabinet could have been bigger but this is a minor issue given how good the rest is.

This property is perfect for a romantic getaway. The location is great as it is far away from anything making you feel extremely isolated. The property itself is fantastic. The rooms have everything they need and have a very cosy feel to them. Some personal favourite aspects of the property are the small porch with a table and two chairs (perfect for a coffee in the morning), the large DVD catalogue and the farm at the back with a number of chickens roaming around. 100% would return.

Everything. It is superb accommodation and we were sorry that we were not staying there longer. I would highly recommend it to others.
