Good location, self-check in managed smoothly via automated message with door codes etc. Room 9 was on the top floor so no foot traffic going past the room meant it wasn’t noisy.

The property feels more like an informal hostel rather than a hotel. A fire alarm was activated in the middle of the night. All guests evacuated the building and waited outside but as the alarm continued, one guest had to use their phone to call a staff member as no staff on-site to respond. Not sure why the alarm didn’t automatically alert on-call staff?? Good thing it wasn’t a real fire. Staff member then casually arrived on foot to cancel the fire alarm siren, but it was a very cold wait. WiFi didn’t work and TV didn’t work. Room definitely looks more boutique from the photos than in real life.

It was clean, comfortable and it had Netflix.

There was not enough water coming out the shower.

Nobody to help on arrival. Was left outside for ages in the freezing cold having to continually text and await a response whilst my fone battery was dying. Nobody to show us the facilities. Said the studio had a balcony but it didn't. Smokey alarm went off whilst I was in the shower so had to rush out. No fire brigade or staff came. Residents trying to find how to turn it off but Nobody checking if there was an actual fire. I booked a studio but it definitely wasn't a studio

It was advertised as with sea view, but it was not. When I queried it I was told it's a side sea view. Even so you still could not see the sea. The WIFI was very poor. Could not watch TV and no signal on phones. We reported it but no-one got back to us. The shower leaked from the hose and the pressure was very weak and the soft furnishings were very tatty. We left a day early which meant not only did we lose our money on the accommodation we lost a day pre paid parking fee

Lovely building, in a tree lined road. Not far from the sea & local amenities. Very clean room, super comfy bed & pillows with a lovely Victorian fireplace too.

The room was central for what we needed, clean and tidy and had everything we needed.

One of the reasons for choosing this accommodation was that they said they had parking. What they actually mean is you can pay £20 for 24 hours for a parking permit from them if they have permits in stock. It’s just an extra cost to consider with your booking.
