Good host. 호스트를 직접 보지는 못했지만 매우 적극적으로 문제를 해결하려 하였음. 요청 사항에 대한 답신도 빠르고 친절함. Good location. 위치는 아주 좋음. 주변에 메트로버스와 그린라인 역이 있음. 10분 걸으면 타겟매장이 있는 mall 도 위치 Price. 근처 위치의 다른 숙박시설 대비 가격이 매우쌈. 그냥 이거 하나로 나머지가 다 상쇄

Old. 오래된 집. 하지만 작동할건 다 작동함. 아주 청결하지는 않지만 막 더러운건 또 아님. 물론 가격을 생각하면 충분히 감수할 만함.

La ubicación es central, cercana a la estación de metro, autobuses y centros comerciales. La persona encargada fue muy amable, buena comunicación.

Mucho ruido en el vencindario, era dificil poder dormir. Cerca a un dispensario (mariguana) y un homeless center para hombres (mucha gente y mucho ruido -algunas peleas). El lugar es muy viejo pero cumple su propósito. No lo recomiendo si viajan con niños pequeños

I was here for work for two weeks. That whole time, the host was kind and responsive. Instructions for checking in and out were clear and easy. The cleaning people were obviously working hard at maintaining common spaces like the bathroom and the kitchen. The AC held up really well to the DC summer for a window unit. Wifi was fast and stable. And the neighborhood is wonderful. You're close to the metro and a number of busses, but there's also a ton of good food, fun shopping, and great local hangs within a five minute walk.

I know much of my negative experience comes from other guests, not the host, but it underscored some bigger issues with the property. The night I got there, I found empty fast food containers from other guests who had been using my room as a living room before I checked in. Another guest ate all the groceries I bought to make meals for myself, causing me to strain my budget just to feed myself from repeated grocery runs. Every morning when I was leaving, I found all the doors were unlocked because the person who left before me didn't seem to know that the doors needed to be manually locked. People left dirty dishes in the sink, put food-encrusted dishes along with the clean ones in the drying rack, and left open food on the counters. At one point, someone even spelled out "sloppy" on the counter in used coffee grounds. Despite instructions to wear headphones, people often took very loud calls or watched videos over speaker, with the only quiet hours from about 2 to 6 am. And the bathroom was always a competition. I share bathrooms almost every time I travel and I've never been in a situation where people take 40-50 minutes a piece to wash up. This isn't helped by the fact that, despite there being a bathroom on both floors, all seven rooms were choosing to use the downstairs bathroom during my stay. Again, the host was kind and the cleaning crew were heroes for setting that place right so routinely. The place is a little dated, but would be a reasonable room for the price if it weren't for the other guests. Certainly your experience may vary depending on who else is there with you. But when other guests can compromise your safety, the cleanliness of the space, and even your budget, I just can't recommend staying here until the host works out some solutions to deal with these issues.

The place was perfect for my situation. I was in a solo trip traveling for a concert, so I wanted to save money by cooking my own food, the kitchen was perfect for that, and the space in the fridge was good too. It is reasonably close to a train station, the street where the place is located has a vibrant scenery meaning even if you arrive to Columbia Heights metro station in the last train, you will still find people around having fun and just living their lives. First time in DC and I hope and pray I won't be the last. If I had to look for a place to stay and this place is still within my budget, I will stay here with no hesitation.

The AC in the rooms works perfectly, but I think the central AC unit wasn't properly working, and since it's summer, the kitchen, the bathroom and just anywhere that isn't a room felt really hot sometimes. I am a person that sweats a lot so sometimes I would start sweating a lot while cooking, but ofc you can open the windows to make it fresher while you're doing your thing.

Easy access and easy to find with all the essential amenities at a reasonable cost

Shared bathrooms were less than ideal especially when other guests spend 45+ minutes dominating the facilities; this doesn’t work well when up to 14 guests share 2 small bathroom/toilets. Use of the kitchen by guests wasn’t ideal when the aromas of food was horrendous; guests shouldn’t be permitted to cook strong smelling foods like fish the permeate the entire house. Guests need to be more respectful of other guests when shared facilities are being used.

Need a t.v.

The instructions to enter are explained very well, and are easy to follow. The room was exactly as described, and the host is quite communicative and polite. The walls are a bit thin (this is mentioned in the listing, so no surprises there!), but the other guests were very considerate and didn't make excessive noise, so it was no problem. The place is quite close to a shopping center with a Target and a Lidl, as well as a metro stop, so it's very convenient.

I didn't really have any complaints! It was just as described and I was comfortable and happy throughout the stay.
