Pleasant Rooming House

The property is very conveniently located near the bus and metro. The rooms vary in quality but are clean and tidy. Some are large with a table and chairs. There’s a great fully equipped kitchen, coffee making facilities and refrigerator on both floors.

The pillows are very flat and uncomfortable. Apart from that it’s good value for the price in DC.

Even some of the previous reviews mentioned about some concerns regarding cleanliness, we found that the place is very nice, very clean with very good maintenance. Especially the owner Walid was super helpful with everything to make our stay very comfortable. We were very satisfied with the room heating (we stayed in April, where the outside temperature was around 5-10°C), cleanliness, and the fast and stable wifi connection. Facilities provided in the common kitchen were also very nice. We could find everything we needed for our 3 days stay there. Neighbourhood was also very nice and safe. Will definitely book this place when we visit Washington DC next time.

Good experience, great location to restaurants, stores and Metro

Clean, fairly comfortable, cheap for Washington DC, nice host. Easy to get to from the tourist area (short bus ride).

Cold in the room and lots of light gets in through the curtains. Also extremely noisy in the steeet outside from 6am onwards (luckily I had a warm sweater, good earplugs and an eye mask)

The host was very communicative. The location was convenient to the metro.

In room number 7 the window did not lock, which is a safety issue. Also there was a constant draft coming in from the window. Mattress was lumpy.

The host was friendly and ready to answer any question and help. Location is good, near to different restaurants, markets and metro station.
