Sandy Lodge

As expected in comparison with the photos. They had tonnes of facilities than the places I've stayed at previously, including a ninja air fryer, cleaning products, even had milk, a snack hamper and some hot drinks available. Cannot complain. Hairdryer, towel etc. The location is perfect very close to the beach. Nearby to a police station and vets. Was flexible with our requests which was very lovely and even prepared us with fans for the warm bank holiday. One of the fans didn't work and they offered to bring another one. Plenty of rooms and great for families sharing.

This is being picky... These are minor things and personal preference Bed is firm for myself but others were like fine with it. The bathroom has a hook rather than a lock and no hooks for clothes.

The hosts were very responsive to any contact before our stay. We were able to check in to the property early which was great as we were looking to get into Hornsea earlier than 3 to make the most of the day. The host left some essentials including milk, cereals, biscuits, crisps etc which was great. Overall the house was clean and comfortable, and the location was brilliant to visit our family in Hornsea.

The host received a complaint/complaints from neighbours about banging and loud voices. The property was advertised as sleeping 10 people which is going to come with noise. We had children with us, who are excitable and do make a level of noise, charging about and having fun. At no point did I feel it was excessive. It was a shame because we then were overly conscious about creating any noise on our 2nd day, and potentially didn't have as much fun as a result.

Great location and very clean. Went for my Dads 70th it was perfect. Really would go back
