Boschendal Farm Estate

Great nature and scenery, drivers were great and polite. Room was clean and cozy.

Cold pool, not much to do apart from tree house, wine and just being around the nature but that’s what farms are for. Checkout is too early at 10 am sharp, we had a night flight and wanted a late check out but they offered a very expensive rate (1500 zar per hour) meaning 3 hours are already equivalent to a full day stay. Not justified or helpful from their side. We travel a lot and we usually get a standard checkout at 12 pm and staff usually extend us till 1 pm, not here apparently.

The property is located in only what can be described as a magical setting. The vineyard and farm are beautiful in itself but the shop, restaurants and other amenities made for a memorable stay. I thought Boschendal would be kid tolerant but it was extremely friendly and accommodating. A ton of families were there and there was so much intention on activities and amenities for kids. The wine, of course, was excellent.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

Good communication, easy check in and out, accommodation was exactly as anticipated and dinner at the Retreat restaurant was a delightful experience.

Nice layout and plenty of room…

Bit tired, some areas need repair. Keys are not available for all doors.. Staff response time very lacking,

Boshendal is stunning. Beautiful scenery and gardens. Love the farm to table concept. Great breakfast and delicious wine.

Fantastic facilities. Staff go over and beyond.
