Boschendal Farm Estate

Magnifique maison, avec de beau espace. Nous étions 8 et tous c’est vraiment bien déroulé. Personnel au petit soins, accueillant et souriant. Environnement paisible et reposant ! Idéal pour faire la route des vins.

La restauration pour le petit déjeuné a était très long. Il n’y a pas de buffet mais un service à table. Nous sommes restés 01h45 à table, ce qui est long pour moi.

The cottage was cosy and had a real fire (it was chilly while we were there). The pool area was quiet and secluded We were able to explore the estate and gardens on our own and stay away from the crowds

The downside of staying on a wine estate is that some people drink too much and make it unpleasant for other guests

Such a beautiful venue. Loved the cottages, amazing breakfast and such lovely, friendly staff. Unfortunately it was very rainy while we were there…but it didn’t take away from the beauty of the place.

I didn’t mind the location, but it should be noted that it is quite a distance from the main Boschendal farm.

The food was amazing- dinner and breakfast. Great value for money. Elmore was a great host.

The waitresses could be a bit more assertive. We could've spent more on drinks if they came often to the table to upsell or take more drink orders. They were also quite noisy and we screaming at each other whilst we were dining for dinner.

What a beautiful setting on this beautiful historic farm. Our family stay was wonderful, we should have booked an additional night as it was too short. The house itself was huge and very comfortable, and our adult kids had a great time. The staff at reception were really lovely and helpful. And what a treat to have the farm deli and the restaurants all close by.

We got lost getting there, no signage for Fynbos Farmhouse once you go through the security gates, please look into this. The kitchen could do with some additional items such as oven gloves, basting brush and more drying cloths. Also, there were only 5 place mats and there were 6 of us staying there. The cutlery drawer was dirty, one of the previous residents must have spilt some syrup, but that was still in the drawer. Some of the plates were also not clean.

wenig sein. schicke schilder. aber s hon beim reinfahren sah es sehr rummelig aus. Offensichtlich sehr viele bustourtouristen. die hauptrezeption ist in einem schönen Gebäude und passt noch am ehesten zu dem Bild, was man sich in social Media selber gibt. Unser cottage war dann aber nicht auf dem Hauptgebäude, sondern auf der anderen Seite der Hauptstraße und hatte nichts mehr mit dem zu tun, was man von boschendal sonst sieht. der Pförtner dort hat uns dann kurz die richtung geqoesen, aber nicht gesagt, wie weit man fahren muss, so dass wir erneut zum Tor mussten und dann begleitet wurden. Die sand Piste zu der für uns zuständigen Rezeption ist kein besonders schöner Weg. Die Rezeption dann ein modernes, aber kühl und seelenlos eingerichtetes Gebäude. Die begrüssung Mittel nett. Frühstück gibt es bis 9.45, check out ist 10.00! Kein late check put möglich. das ganze wurde eher unfreundlich vorgebracht und passt zu dem gefühl, was wir seit dem befahren des hauotgelöndes zunehmend bekommen haben. wir sind dann, das Zimmer war um 14.00 noch nicht fertig, ohne einzuchecken wieder abgefahren. Um dann an einem der schönsten Orte zu landen. dem Leeu Hotel. Dort war dann alles perfekt und mehr Sein als Schein.

Bij aankomst raakte wij bij het achteruit parkeren een boom met veel schade aan de auto. Het personeel en met name Funi heeft ons fantastisch geholpen met het geregel voor het omruilen van de auto, ze bracht zelfs een fles bubbels mee voor de schrik. Wij zaten in de Orchard cottage waarvoor je vervoer nodig hebt om in het park zelf te komen. De tijd dat wij even geen auto tot onze beschikking hadden haalde het personeel ons op wanneer wij maar wilden. De vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid hebben wij erg gewaardeerd.
