The Nookery

Very cute and snug, well set out and clean. We walked to the Railway Inn at the Thatchers Brewery for evening meal (don’t have the steak) but everything else lovely and the walk looked further but was actually quite a nice bimble.

Not a dislike just an awareness note that it is remote, which is fab for price and quiet, so take snacks as whilst there are shops the closest shop is not the best and you can walk but it is a bit of a walk. This is only because we didn’t take snacks and hubby didn’t feel to well first night so I had to go out foraging for food 🤣 Plenty of good notes and suggestions available in the house but we had just arrived.

A stunning, special and memorable stay. Becks and family were so welcoming and gave us everything we needed for one of the best stays we have ever had. I can't state enough how cosy, warm and inviting the space was. Spotless, fully kitted out, lots of thoughtful extras including an extra special welcome for my boyfriend's birthday too. The hot tub was just the icing on the cake. We didn't want to leave and so look forward to coming back. This is genuinely one of the best stays we've ever had and that's down to Becks and Roy making it such an incredible home away from home. There is so much to do nearby as well which took us by surprise and we really appreciated the welcome pack that Becks and family so thoughtfully put together too.

The property is beautifully appointed. Very comfortable, very clean and everything you need is there. The location and surroundings are great too. It is a true gem of a weekend hideaway.

Was such a lovely, quiet place. We had a gorgeous welcome pack for our puppy and done out romantically as we were on our honeymoon. Loved all the helpful and cute notes! Always got back to me if needed anything. Had a wonderfully, organised folder with taxis, places to visit, places to eat ect. We had a lovely time and very grateful

Appropriate milk was bought for us and there was coffee and a cafetière. Very helpful just. The hot tub was fabulous. We really enjoyed the railway Inn, which was a 20 minute walk away.

To have been able to sit and eat downstairs in the kitchen.

The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. The house itself was perfect: Cosy, clean and beautifully presented. The hot tub was very modern and the little garden was nice and secluded. The hosts were great at communicating and were able to accommodate some birthday requests. It really made the day special. Couldn't recommend enough.
