Amazing lodge loved the hot tub 😍

Really clean and fresh. Beds very comfortable

The place was absolutely freezing when we arrived. We arrived after a long car journey with 2 small children, and it was unbearable. We had to turn the heating on and go back out again. Not great as we had purchased food to cook to try keep costs down. There is no path or lights to the hot tub and the garden area looks like it may be work in progress?

Property was stunning & in a decent quiet location, hot tub was great too. On entering the property we were presented with some lovely Christmas treats, so thank you for that, it was a nice touch.

Our only issues were the bathroom could do with a blind for a bit more privacy when showering, and better lighting around the hot tub. Otherwise everything was great.

Comfortable, cosy lodge. Good wifi. Reasonably easy access to York via Grimston Bar Park and Ride. Enjoyed hot tub. Parking for 2 cars.

Would be handy to have a washing machine for longer stays. Some teething problems on arrival but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Welcome Lets.

It was clean and felt very homely. The hot tub was an added bonus!

It was very hot with the weather, but there’s nothing you can do about that. We closed all the curtains and blinds during the day. The bumps on the estate were horrible but they did their job!

Hi We stayed at the birches lodge at florida keys holiday park in wilberfoss over Easter weekend. I was disappointed with the lodge we had booked and we came home earlier than planned due to not being able to use the hot tub which was the main reason for going to visit this lodge for a week. when we opened the hot tub on arrival on Thursday evening, it the water was green, soap scum around the water level and smelt of algae, the inside of the lid is slimy, we couldn’t use it. A person from Yorkshire spas came out the following afternoon to clean it as requested. He said the team had forgotten notify him that it needed a clean prior to our arrival. In two days time it happened again, I requested another clean but there was no response from the contact we had. We didn’t use the hot tub on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday. We left from the lodge a day earlier than planned. I would like a refund for this break. We will not be returning. It’s a real shame we didn’t enjoy our break. We don’t get to spend much time together as a family and we were really looking forward to this break. I hope that you will take this feedback on board for future bookings.
