"In general, a good experience."

The location is great. The host (Andrea) was very helpful (he answered all our questions and also gave us a drive to a car rental place where we rented a car.)

El apartamento es completo y agradable. La ubicación está bien si vas a viajar en transporte público, ya que está cerca de la estación de tren y las paradas de autobuses interurbanos, aunque algo alejado del centro. También tiene varios supermercados cerca.

Great location, we felt safe and taken care of. The owner is very kind and responsive. The room is equipped with a washing machine, iron, hairdryer and there is an umbrella that can be borrowed by the guests. There's also AC and the neighbourhood is silent. We didn't cook or bake, but the kitchen is well equipped. Right after we entered, the humidity was significant, but went away once we settled in. Had a great time :)

The shower could use a deep clean and a small shelf.

Our stay in Catania was absolutely perfect, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing host, Giuseppe. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome. He was always available, checked in with us daily to make sure everything was okay, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like we were being cared for by a friend — his hospitality was exceptional. The apartment itself is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, which was ideal for relaxing after a day in the city. At the same time, it’s still very central — just a short 7–8 minute walk to Via Etnea and all the main attractions. The apartment was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed for our longer stay. Within 1–2 minutes walking distance, we had access to supermarkets, bakeries, and charming cafés — everything was super convenient. If you’re planning a trip to Catania, don’t hesitate to book this place. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Thank you, Giuseppe, for making our time in Catania so special!
