Atlantis Jomtien Waterworld Resort

The pool area is very big and it’s a spacious apartment in a quiet complex

The mould and mould smell in the bathroom is a lot and unfortunately the facilities at the resort are a bit run down (pool slides and pool play area). The internet is also super slow and laggy

The pool is incredible. Easy and straightforward check in.

The shower could use a good bleach and scrub. The soap scum makes it look a bit grungy.

The fact they are saying after there cooker turned on in the middle of the night causing smoke through out the flat and hallways with not a single fire alarm working then to try and blame us that one of us was out and the other asleep is just lies still missing the fact that no alarms working try to blame us be careful putting a family in here your children are at risk what happened if another flat went up in fire you wouldn’t know and you could end up dead this is shocking to blame someone else I even have the texts to show that he has not been able to contact the manager to sort this problem and that there was no alarms at the time of this also have the photos that show the cooker was attached direct to the mains no plug or fuse what a joke attached is the photos

The noise of the children in the morning and the bed was pretty hard.

There was no included breakfast, but we could eat at the two Thai restaurants over the road that served Isaan and western food and cook breakfast using the condo facilities. The swimming pool was the best feature. It is very large and has water slides. It is full of children most of the day. It opens at 9am and our 2 kids aged 9 and 10 spent 6 hours in the pool on the first day alone. It is shallow enough in most parts and near the boat feature it was deep enough for adults to swim. The room itself was clean and as described and the cooking facilities were sufficient and well maintained. There is a door right next to the condo door that leads to some steps down to the pool that makes the room VERY close to the pool. I think it is an emergency door, but it is used as a normal access door.

I think most people mention that the car parking is a bit of a problem. We always got a car parking space, because we stayed around the condo most of the time and so parked when other people were out on trips during the day. Apart from that I would say everything was good about the condo. I noticed that some people said it is a long way from the 'centre', but if you cross the road opposite the car park entrance and walk about 200 metres, you come to a road that leads to the beach that is a very good 'centre' all of its own' This is the Jomtien beach used mainly by the Thais and it has lots of Thai restaurants at the market and has a lovely large beach that is full of Thai families at night. There are also bars and restaurants for westerners.

We have been at Atlantis Resort before with the another room/host. From the experience for Atlantis, most of the rooms that we have been not that clean, mold!!! BUT.. here was amazing. The host well maintenance with the room. We don't smell the mold/humidity. Sofa bed is clean/functional, Smart TV, Wifi etc. The host such a great with the communication, explained quite well for everything. Overall, we had a great time.

Nothing so far

I want to commend the room we stayed, its in room 401 building, the things inside the condo are complete, you cannot ask for more, the rent is very affordable, the pool is big with slides and good for kids, i will come back next time. There is a parking space but you need to wait for some empty space because some cars are come and go. .

Ahm i think the pool is a bit dirty when we went there and only that.
