Venice Premium Houseboats Alleppey

The views were beautiful, the staff were really nice and helpful, the food was very good

There is only a very small area of open decking so if you like to sit in fresh air there’s a very limited option. There should have been a tip jar/ box because from what we could see there was an issue of staff not sharing our tip money.

Breakfast was good. Location also good only problem was slow movement of the vehicle upto spot for narrow road

Mosquito repellent should be provided in every room

Great, Clean. Lots of food. Enjoyed our stay here. Surprisingly no mosquitoes due to the repellent. Very relaxing

Rooms a bit dated but I think expected as a boat house.

Staff is really efficient and friendly . The food was delicious but could be improved and have different options for lunch / dinner rather than serving same menu for both .

Staff was so friendly and co operative. Location was easy to find. peaceful surroundings after departure of boat..

Salty water in washrooms

Very poor simple things like spoon and small bowl not given on asking explanation is in Kerala we eat with hand.

Over all very dirty bathroom food quality very bad, insufficient for all passengers, will never recommend to anyone

We liked going on another little boat and going through the smaller waterways to experience some of the ambiance of village life.

The hospitality was not good. Our host welcomed us onto the boat and that was it. No sign of anyone. There was just 7 of us and 2 other people. No one told us what time breakafast would be etc or anything else. It was a ghost boat with no one about. The food was very basic and very disappointing (very greasy and tasteless). The boat was not super clean and the photographs on the advert sateted it was a new boat. Absolutley not a new boat. Vey old and worn out. I would not recommend this particular boat company.

The boat brings you on a cruise around Alleppey’s backwaters that is extremely enjoyable. They serve tasty food and make sure you have a pleasant day. The staff on the boat is amazing, super polite and friendly and they do their best to let you have a fun and stress free stay. I spent some time talking with the captain and it was very pleasant! He showed me the famous snake boat races that take place in Alleppey and told me so many fun facts about the city and Kerala. Nice addition the possibility to go on a smaller boat and visit the villages and narrow canals. We also stopped to get coconut water and it was very tasty. In the evening they surprised us with a candle lit dinner and it was greatly appreciated. They also put petals on the table and it felt very romantic. Highly recommended!

The bed is a bit hard, not super comfortable. The water in the shower is not warm, but I guess that’s normal for a boat. The boat was very clean, but the room itself could use some more attention.
