Location excellent for the Manchester Central where I was attending a conference.

I didn't realise that this is a actually an AirBnB when I booked - I assumed it was an apartment hotel. It wasn't until I received a message saying that I needed to go down the road and get the key from a lockbox attached to a different property that I twigged something wasn't right. In the message you receive there is even one that says don't tell anyone at the apartment like the concierge that you are staying as it's not allowed. It felt like staying in someone's house - but not in a good way. I felt super-awkward. The bathroom needs a good scrub, and there was only warm water, no hot water. I received a message after my stay saying that these hosts had a lot more accommodation in Manchester. Super-sad to walk past all the homeless people in Manchester, and know that you are staying in a not-allowed AirBnB accommodation that is part of the homeless issue - making homes unaffordable for people. I use Booking.com to avoid these AirBnB situations, but I should have researched this one further. I felt so awkward I just stayed the one night and then went home and missed the last day of the conference.

Checking in was a breeze. We were given an early check-in from 9am !!! For free It came with its own parking space but never used it Very secure & very good location Spacious & very clean Very good for a PLAB 2 exam stay Good facilities Has a ton of kitchen appliances & equipment

It's a bit old apartment & and it's starting to show the age Our main worry was the hot water It was never there Maybe because we are from a tropical country We couldn't bear the coldness of the water, even after turing to maximum hotwater Contacted the host, said to press a "boost" button on boiler Made no difference. Only has a washer, no dryer in the apartment The towel dryer in the bathroom is not working, and there is no other way to dry the towels The heater next to the tv is not working. Its fuse box is damaged But can manage to adequately heat the living room with other heater. Many of the lights in the living room were not working Got the idea that no one was bothered to check the apartment before letting it away Had only 2 towels

The apartment was not a 'luxury' apartment. The pedal bin in the kitchen area didn't work and when I lifted it, it was disgusting underneath the lid, so dirty that we didn't want to touch it. The coffee machine was dirty. We had to ask for the wifi code. As we moved the sofa cushions to look for the tv remote there were crumbs under the cushions. The remote control for the tv was under the sofa, this indicated underneath the sofa hadn't been vacuumed. There was no hot water. When asked we were told to turn it on via the heater. What heater? When I contacted Steph she referred me to the info pack she sent me two days before my booking. I double-checked and the page was blank when I clicked on 'hot water'. We couldn't work it out and had to have a cold or no shower. I don't know why there couldn't have been a laminate with useful bullet-point instructions. Bit concerned that we couldn't mention AirB&B is anyone, if asked!

The apartment is a great location in Manchester! Lots of space and light in the apartment and the balacony was nice to have a coffee on in the morning with the morning sun facing you. The hosts were easy to contact and gave us a very well detailed document about how to check in and find the apartment.

The bathroom was a little outdated but still clean. Be sure to bring your own soaps and shampoos. As the apartment is located near a busy party road, you will get noise from outside late at night however this can't be helped.

A great property as a base for Manchester.

Needs a little TLC as the laminate flooring is showing wear and tear.

Excellent location and apartment was clean and modern design. Kitchen was fully functional. The host was approachable and responded within minutes.

Overall everything was good; however a dryer can be a great addition for long stays.

Great location. Parking

Couple of minor issues. The radiator in bathroom didn’t work so difficult to dry towels. 1 bedside light didn’t work. The transformer was missing. Also radiator in living room didn’t work. Looks like fuse has burnt out. We had no hot water Saturday morning. Advised owner. Was given advice to sort. But this didn’t work. Was then told to call maintenance. Made it clear I wasn’t happy doing this. And it’s his responsibility to sort. As far as I’m aware maintenance didn’t come. Luckily we had hot water in the evening again. There’s also a gap in the laminate floor in living room. No wine glasses! We had to buy some.

The hosts were efficient, quick, and consistent. They provided detailed messages with links to a guide that had so many resources. The link included check in and check out instructions. (Which were the least amount of instructions I’ve ever seen from an Air BnB, at least in the US.) They provided clear videos how to use the oven, stove top, as well as how to access the keys, and other things. They also provided restaurant and local activities ideas. Even social media accounts to follow! I’ve never seen an Air BnB provide those kinds of resources. I did have a minor issue while staying and they were quick to connect with me and pull in their handyman. Someone did have to come out, and the engineer was amazing. And they were all so quick and so kind. Everyone made me feel safe. All the men at the front desk are just as exceptional. They want to help you, no matter how small the issue/question. (Like if you needed just ONE of those coin batteries at midnight or use of a pencil sharpener.) They all quickly remembered my name. The location is amazing. Right at the heart of everything. I might selfishly want to keep this place a secret, but they deserve nothing but an extraordinary review. I want to emphasize how consistent these hosts are. I left over a week ago and they’re still quickly getting back to me now. They are the epitome of what an Air BnB host should be. And this location was too. So clean, and they’re clear with the items they do provide. Can’t say enough good things about the hosts, location, the building (and the front desk.) Oh! And having deliveries (you don’t always want to cook) were always easy. A couple times they parked down the block, but we could see each other, and they quickly pulled up. No problems with them finding the location.

The only thing I could think to even suggest is maybe putting a little label on the router with the Wifi name and password. I had a personal issue with my cell phone (provider.) The information is provided digitally ahead of time; I just didn't save it before I needed it.
