Hotel Crystal Pashupati, Near Airport & Pashupatinath

New property, good location( just opp to Pashupatinath temple).

In house car rental was a bit expensive compared to the local rates

The food at the hotel was magnificent - so tasty and satisfying - both breakfast and dinner. The waitstaff were very thoughtful and looked after us. Excellent location really close to the international airport. The suite was a beautiful stay - an oasis from the streets. Allowed us to check in super early as we had come into town from overseas at 8am.

Lots and lots of construction noise as they removated rooms. We understand that as it was super low season however.

Everything including the room, cleanliness, staff, location. We would stay here again :)

Breakfast was very bland as per our taste, even though there were a bunch of options. We had to eat outside. We wanted Firmer mattress for back ache, but they only had one type of mattress which was a little soft and springy (like most hotels).

Perfect location, directly across the Pashupatinath temple. Beautiful vibes from the hotel and the most helpful staff. Siddharth and Mr Pant at the front desk were excellent hosts and made us feel at home and very comfortable. The hotel will forever hold great significance in my life since I celebrated my 50th birthday here.

I loved the property

The Hotel is located bang opposite to Pashupatinath temple, which was the reason we chose it. The staff in the Hotel are always smiling and are ready to help. The view from Hotels restaurant on the top floor is very good. The breeze was also relaxing. A good place to wide down after a hectic day around the busy city. The Hotel accepted Indian Rupees (of Rs. 100/- denominations) which was helpful to us as we were short of Nepali Rupees & wanted to save it for other expenses.

House keeping. They do not change towels unless you ask for it. We stayed for 4 days & the sheets were not changed at all. We had chosen Super Deluxe room. All you get is an additional cot (which wasn't of much use to the 2 of us). So if you are two people, avoid Super Deluxe & save up as you don't get anything 'Super' over the Delux :)... The hotel is hardly 1.5 kms from Airport, but both the in-house transit vehicle or the local taxis charged Rs. 500 Nepali rupees which we left is high. Breakfast spread was very limited. Special thanks to the staff who arranged tasty Aloo Paratas for us.
