The place is so clean and well decorated.

To use the hot water is so complicated. The explanation is not so clear. We need to ask for their help.

The room layout was cleverly made out of shipping containers, which made it a unique experience. Great location, friendly staff, smooth check ins and out. Would really recommend staying and we would stay again

The hygiene in the room was decent, the bed was fine and comfortable. The staff was friendly in general.

Easily the worst price-quality ratio we have encountered on our trip through southeast Asia. It already started when two attempts at booking a room got cancelled without any reason. The third try at a 40% higher rate did get through. My bad for ignoring this red flag. The motorbike rental is a clear scam. If you rent a motorbike it's "200k KIP without oil [sic], 250k per day with oil". The receptionist couldn't clarify further since she didn't really speak english. If you then order "with oil" they fill it with 1 small bottle of gasoline, and the bike is empty within a few kilometers again. We then got a flat tire within the first few kilometers. When calling the "emergency number" they simply tell you to walk to the nearest garage and have it fixed at your own expense. The promised "balcony" is a actually a mudpool without any seating, overlooking what looks like a sewer and a parking lot and construction site where trucks dump debris multiple times a day with deafening sound. Don't be fooled - like us - thinking you book a room in a more quiet part of town. Karaoke goes on nearby all evening, meaning more noise than in many parts of the actual town. This is exacerbated by the wooden thin walls with many holes in it. It also means the heat is difficult to keep out of the room - even with the aircon on. Some minor nuisances which should all be fixed if the hotel wants to be true to the "luxury" it tries to exude (and no - a baththub in front of the window which nobody uses doesn't accomplish that purpose): - No mirror at the sink - No hand soap - Locker not working - Water boiler without any suitable power outlet. Either take out the fridge or put it on a tiny ledge above the bed which is a dangerous place to put it - No wifi in the room. The access point is too far away.

The room was big, the shower was amazing, the place was overall very nice - but: the big windows face a little river and there are no trees to cover you (one morning there were some kids and the staff passing by, and I was laying in bed with no curtains - no privacy at all) Staff was nice but barely spoke English. Breakfast was ok but would have expected more for this type of accommodation.

The pool was covered 🥲 I booked this property just for the pool, the pictures were so nice… but they built a roof on top so it’s not exposed to the sun at all. So sad!
