A lovely place

Unfortunately, my stay was anything but what I expected. There was a flying squirrel in my room, The Lavender Loft that woke me up at 3am. I know things happen, but this was incredibly disruptive. I reached out to Erin and Jonathan and they responded very shortly once it was the morning with a “OMG I’m so sorry! This has never happened!” Message. To make matters worse, I was only ok town for the night because my grandmother was in the ICU at Watauga Medical Center- which Erin and Jonathan were aware of, and how disruptive this stay was for me. Later in the morning (about 2 hours or so), they messaged me I would receive a 50% refund for my stay. I still have not seen that refund and I’m a bit shocked they did not refund me in full. I literally had a flying squirrel in the loft, got it out and reported it to them to have everything they needed on their end to further inspect the loft. I was up from 3am-6am atleast. Very very disappointing host response.

More water pressure.

Great place, the rooms were well decorated and comfortable, well thought out. All around good job.

Limited vegitarian options can be make it better
