Cozy Downtown Apartment

Excellent location with all the facilities we needed for a good stay. You can do a nice walk to the old main street and there are restaurants, pubs, and stores in easy walking distance.

Street parking was a bit hit and miss as most people living nearby are parking in the street as well. We were booked in as a group of five but there were only cups and glasses for four which is odd but seems to keep happening to us in air bnbs.

Location and cleanliness. Amenities were great. Kitchen had everything we needed and complimentary tea and coffee was great and much needed.

Second locks on the door were broken so let’s it down but nothing that can’t be fixed. Huge fire exit sign in the living room which had a bright light on. Found it hard to sleep.

It's a great space with good quality furnishings and fittings. It is very clean and easy to find We would definitely stay again (dont be put off by my 'didn't like' section as it's just because I've explained my reasonings that it looks so long). The host was very helpful and accommodating.

The shower is too low. Positioned probably around 4'6" on the wall, meaning you have to hold it to use it. Limited street parking, so whilst we parked ok on arrival in the afternoon, arriving back in the early hours after a night out meant parking further up the road. When booking if you need the ground floor flat ensure you check as ours was 1st floor. Receiving a message on the morning of the booking advising a £200 deposit was needed before the door code would be divulged. I hadn't read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION section which clearly stated that. However, it also stated it would be expected 7 days before the stay, so a message at that stage would have given time to sort it without a possible panic as we were on route when we realised. Luckily we were in the position to make that payment, but it could have ruined other people's experience if they were financially struggling.

What a fantastic find! We loved the apartment and will definitely be rebooking again. It was spotlessly clean, there is plenty of space, the beds were spacious and comfortable. Parking was excellent (free road parking directly outside). It was just a 7 minute walk into town, a lovely walk as well! The snacks were a lovely touch. Thé communication from the host was excellent! Such a lovely accommodation, thank you so much for having us!

Just one small detail - I slept on the sofa bed overnight, and the fire exit light is large and very bright, which made sleeping in the lounge a little difficult. I do understand this is probably a legal requirement though, and we will absolutely be back to stay! I would simply bring a sleeping mask with me. (If there is any possibility to make the light smaller, it would be a perfect!)
