Excellent location, luxury all around, the owners were great,.everything is just perfect for a couple gateway.

We absolutely loved our stay. Ali and his wife are such interesting and lovely people and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The place is stunning and absolutely spotless, so well taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are big and luxurious. The property is directly infront of a beautiful beach. My husband and I have stayed in so many places but we will never forget this one it was really special to us and we will definitely come back.

The cost of a taxi from there (or by the beach) to San Juan del sur is 10 to 15 USD even though it's only a ten to system

Beautiful property with amazing beach view (even from bed!). Very friendly and helpful service, tasty breakfast. The rooms were so luxurious and clean, the pool was very nice too. The beach was perfect especially for beginner surfers, many nice restaurants too.

We stayed at the Flamingo experience for a week and it is just an amazing experience. We've stayed at nice places in Costa Rica, Bali, South Africa and all over the world - but this gem hidden in a piece of paradise is at the very top. Ali and Frania are incredible, hospitable hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, well looked after and your stay enjoyable. Their dogs are also very friendly. The roar of the waves crashing on the beach is at your front porch, whether sitting in the wonderful pool or in your room with the amazing view. Here you can surf, ride motorbike, enjoy massages, go bar/restaurant hopping, hiking and more. God willingly we will surely visit again! Come here if you want an adventurous vacation or if you just need to relax and feed your soul, whether alone, with friends or as a romantic getaway.

There's nothing we didn't like

The property is incredible! Great view, walking distance to the beach, awesome terrace to watch the sunsets... but the best part were the hosts. Frania and Ali were incredible. Ali is a great chef and frania was always welcoming and helpful. I cant say enough about them. We didnt want to leave and are definitely coming back.

Everything was absolutely pristine, extremely beautiful location, delicious breakfast, and the hosts (Ali & Frania) were incredibly warm and generous people. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you stay.

Nothing, it was perfect!!

We had the King Suite with Ocean View. What a heavenly view, steps away from the infinity pool. The Pool overlooks a surf beach which also offers surf lessons to beginners. The beach also has nice dining options facing the sea. The stay was enhanced by the most amazing hosts Ali and Frania. They offered to help with advise on all aspects of our stay in the area. The made to order breakfast was simply delectable too. Longer stays are highly recommended.

A wonderful haven right on the edge of a chilled and mellow surf beach.

No complaints!

The whole staff there including Ali and his wife were very friendly and very attentive to anything that we needed. The location is perfect for a tranquil and yet fun experience on the beach. The shower is hot, the drinking water is pure and cold and the restaurants and bars are a close walk down the beach. Also there is a sauna coming soon!
