- nice garden with animals - spacious bungalows - we could take a shower after check-out

- The whole place is dirty (sorry to say): in the room there is Gekko (?) poop on the floor and even once on my mattress, outside there is a lot of poop from the other animals, in the kitchen there are chicken and cats on the table,… - No internet connection at all: the WiFi does not work (even when connected), no mobile data connection - we had a lot of mosquitos and 2 (!) frogs in our room - the road to downtown El Nido is flooded during high tide (no taxi) - in the morning it is very noisy because of the roosters

- posizione eccezionale anche se fuori dal caos di El Nido - struttura molto bella in stile filippino immersa nella natura - personale sempre sorridente e disponibile

- la struttura è un po trascurata e con qualche accorgimento in più potrebbe migliorare molto - il vialetto di accesso ai cottages e male illuminato e a tratti scivoloso - la pulizia non è impeccabile - climatizzazione non disponibile

Molto molto bene, abbiamo vissuto una buona esperienza. Centrale a El Nido ma in una confort zone, strepitoso.

Zeer behulpzame en sympathieke verantwoordelijke. Ontspannen sfeer. Mooie grote kamer met ramen die voorzien zijn van horren tegen de muggen. Goede verluchting mogelijk. Prachtige tuin. Uitgebeid ontbijt met vers fruit. Een oase van rust op wandelafstand van El Nido.

We did receive an upgrade to an air-conditioned room, and the staff on-site is friendly, although they do not speak English.

Unfortunately, our stay at High Chapel Cottages was quite disappointing and did not meet expectations. Communication with the owner was extremely poor—despite sending around five messages via Booking.com and WhatsApp, we received no reply at all. We later learned that the owner has been abroad since August due to personal circumstances, which seems to explain the lack of response and the decline in management. The property itself shows clear signs of damage from recent typhoons. There is a large swamp-like area on the grounds that attracts many mosquitoes, and parts of the resort have not yet been cleaned up or maintained. Animals walk freely across the property, which could create a charming atmosphere, but unfortunately the droppings are not cleaned, making the area feel neglected. The eating and breakfast area also looks quite run-down, and we didn’t feel comfortable dining there. The Wi-Fi barely works. Overall, the price-quality ratio was far below what we expected, and it resulted in a rather negative experience.

Super séjour dans cet établissement! Le personnel est au petit soin et vraiment très accueillant! Les lits ne sont pas très confortables, coussins très fins Cet établissement est vraiment typique et on s’y sent très bien! Je recommande mais si vous cherchez le luxe, ne réservez pas

Did not like anything. Left after 1st night.

Not in a good location. Very dated. No fridge or bottled water. Had to ask for a kettle. Bedding didn't match and looked really old and worn. Woke up to a power cut as there was no generator. Found a nice hotel, good location and moved.
